Matric
Qualification in occupational health and safety (Samtrac or equivalent)
2 years' experience in a SHE role
Risk administration assessment experience
Exposure to site inspections and investigations
Able to interpret OHS-related legislation
Valid driver's licence
Coordinate and monitor OHS processes, guidelines, objectives and practices.
Identify, report and monitor potential hazards and critical safety issues in the workplace
Resolving queries by assigning, directing or escalation
Manage SLA's by using tracking systems
Manage the financial administration function for the OHS department
Administrative support and coordination for health and safety events and meetings, training sessions and evacuation exercises.
Escalate faults and other housekeeping issues
Keep record of all training on database, validity periods and ensuring that OHS officials remain compliant.
Capture first aid and injury on duty incidents reports
Compile and present reports to stakeholders aligned with compliance and regulatory requirements.
