Handle Safety programs, safety regulations, standard-setting and implementation and training of employees
Compiling and distributing Safety reports
Presenting safety to staff in meetings or training sessions
Supporting health & safety users with software updates SHEQX
Generating health and safety statistics
Outstanding inspections, outstanding actions
Change management
Assessing risk and possible safety hazards
Inspect production equipment and processes
Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment.
Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements
Investigating causes of accidents
Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators
Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with health and safety rules
Afrikaans & English (Advantage: Xhosa)
National certification in health and safety from a recognized training provider.
Grade 12 essential
Knowledge of OHS Act.
Code 8 driver's license - must have own transport.
Must be computer literate.
Medically fit.
