Job description

The successful candidate will be required to do the following but not limited to:

• Prepare print-ready artwork for various printing processes
• Editing text by correcting spelling, punctuation and grammar
• Upload print-ready pulls
• Retouching (incl. scanning, deep-etching, colour correction, masking, comping)
• Image sourcing and archiving
• Artwork backups, disking and archiving
• General changes on design and layout elements
• Rollout of artwork across platforms
• Maintaining and updating images on websites/e-commerce

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in DTP
• Mac proficient
• Relevant agency experience
• Understanding of repro principles and print processes
• Fluency in Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Handling tasks with accuracy
• Great time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a thorough and methodical way
• High quality of work

The successful candidate needs to be organised, deadline driven, diligent, energetic and have a can-do attitude. They need to be highly organised and show a keen willingness to learn and improve upon their experience and skills. They will need great attention to detail and be meticulous in everything they do.
