A boutique marketing and design consultancy with longstanding clients is looking for a talented, fun-loving, hardworking designer/art director. Learn a range of design and technical disciplines in a very relaxed environment. Along with technical skills, a sharp conceptual ability is key. Salary is negotiable within the range advertised, dependant on the level of your experience and energy. Essential skills:

• Relevant degree or diploma
• Competent in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Excellent design ability
• Basic understanding of HTML5/Responsive design
• Basic understanding of CSS
• Basic WordPress CMS
• Understanding of social media marketing

You will be required to:

• Design front-end of websites
• Design and distribute emailers
• Manage online advertising platforms
• Manage social media platforms
• Design printed assets (print-ready) including packaging
• Develop and execute print media advertising campaigns

Candidates must also:

• Have an excellent design sense, typography, etc.
• Manage time well and work quickly
• Basic understanding of print-ready files
• Be willing to assist wherever required

Personal attributes:

• Enthusiastic attitude to life and a good sense of humour is a prerequisite
• Essential that you have great people skills as you will relate directly with clients
• Passionate about design and typography, fun personality, self-motivated
• An excellent work ethic
• Be willing to learn new skills and grow
