Marketing Coordinator

If you are a skilled and passionate marketing coordinator this role has been specially crafted for you. 


The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with VM, Retail, Media, Suppliers and the Marketing team to ensure all production elements related to the Marketing department are executed timeously and accurately within a specified budget. 

  • Stores
    • Briefing stores on all marketing related requirements per campaign
    • Ensuring all printed items are delivered by following up with each store to ensure all items that are produced, are delivered on time.
  • Print Media
    • Assisting creatives and marketing team with briefing suppliers, requesting quotes and managing production and distribution of completed jobs.
    • Ensure that scope of work is understood by all parties
    • Accurately assessing quotes to ensure scope of work is met
  • Social Media
    • Populate presentation brief for each campaign in order to accurately brief creative
    • Ensure content calendar is populated and updated in order to brief media agency
    • Upload and schedule all media post created per campaign
      • Facebook
      • Instagram
    • Manage and monitor all customer feedback
    • Consolidate the worst comments and a few of the top best comments and supply back to Marketing to share with the buyers. 
  • Google Business
    • Update each store location with new and updated relevant information
    • Monitor customer feedback
    • Consolidate the worst comments and a few of the top best comments and supply back to Marketing to share with the buyers. 
  • Product & Image
    • Request high resolution images from buyers
    • Update Buyers sheet with what is supplied and what is outstanding
    • Request Product Samples where needed
    • Updating and share marketing materials with buyers
  • Website
    • Upload all product images needed per campaign
    • Schedule and upload web banners
    • Manage customer feedback relating to product queries
  • Timing plans
    • Assist with timing plans per campaign to ensure we are utilising the best resources possible to get the job delivered on time.
  • Invoicing
    • All invoices received must be checked and captured on the marketing budget tracker
    • Ensuring that invoices from suppliers are correct and signed by marketing before handing over to the finance department.
    • Ensuring all invoices are in before invoice submission cut off dates.
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma (advantageous)
  • A minimum of 2 years of brand / marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator & photoshop is advantageous
  • Web administration experience
  • Experience with various CMS & website technology
  • Experience and understanding of the retail environment and a feel for décor, trends and the retail market advantageous
  • 3 years experience in report writing
  • Strong administration, planning, organising and coordination skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office and Google Suite)
