If you have a strong desire to be part of an agency that constantly strives for new and innovative ways of creating award-winning work, then Dieselbrook is the place for you. We are looking for a talented and decisive Creative Director to lead our team. This means that you understand craft, editing and pixel perfect design. You can tell a story and push the creative envelope. You need to be confident, love all things creative, have an eye for detail, be up to date with the latest technological trends and have the ability to oversee the craft of unique, award winning design. You will work closely with a team of designers, animators and strategists, ensuring that all work produced is crafted to the highest industry standards.

Your responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage creative content from idea to delivery
  • Conceive and implement concepts that stay true to brand and meet client expectations
  • Conceptualise and direct projects
  • Collaborate with key team members
  • Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Assist in developing pitches and presenting to clients
  • Ensure team adheres to deadlines and budget
  • Ensure team adheres to Dieselbrook's processes and standards of delivery
  • Motivate team members to participate in ideation
  • Keep up to date with current and emerging design trends and technologies in order to deliver fresh and relevant ideas
  • Translate client strategies, business problems and briefs into creative solutions
  • Build relationships with clients
  • Build relationships with outside suppliers and assist the creative teams with the production process to deliver high quality production value
  • Motivate and inspire good relationships within the agency
  • Develop a working culture that promotes the growth of creatives


Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least five years’ industry/agency experience
  • Experience working with and managing a creative team
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A comprehensive understanding of digital design, video production, content and campaign creation including social and media strategies
  • An affinity for content creation, design and advertising
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great presentation skills
  • Multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills that aid you in maintaining relationships with clients and team members
