Purpose of the role 

Digital content producers generate and curate content for use on digital platforms with the purpose of deepening and extending the viewers’ relationship with the sites (in line with strategy), in order to create content sharing opportunities and brand talkability

Job description 
Primedia Broadcasting requires suitably qualified and experienced individual who can roll out engaging and relevant content across its multiple digital platforms, including social media and website, in line with the digital hub’s strategy
Key considerations when seeking content opportunities include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering exceptional visual social media content for our brands, with a particular emphasis on TikTok and Instagram reels
• Delivering local, relevant content that captures the hearts and minds of the digital audience
• Creating social media content that provides a snapshot of the brand, in line with the strategy
• Writing tightly crafted, on-brand articles around key on-air moments
• Crafting engaging newsletters on a regular basis 

Requirements

• 2-3 years’ experience in digital content creation
• Demonstrable success in growing audience – especially on TikTok and Instagram
• Exposure to Product Management or a Digital environment in the media
• Min 2 years’ experience managing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram platforms for a brand
• Experience at spotting good story angles and re-writing them accurately in an online style on tight deadlines
• Experience in writing articles, blurbs, and social copy
• Video and audio production experience will be advantageous
• Demonstrable understanding of all social media platforms, with a particular focus on visual executions
• Ability to deliver on brief, and troubleshoot in the moment
• High-level English written with an understanding of SEO principles
• Conceptualisation skills
• Ability to pitch creative digital content ideas and action them efficiently.
• Ability to see and translate radio content that will work well on digital platforms.
• Ability to craft or direct content to the station tone across different mediums including audio, articles and video
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Video and audio production advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills to build a content database
• Knowledge of current affairs and pop- and internet culture
• Social Media reporting through analytics and actionable insights
