CBR Marketing is on the hunt for a digital strategist who will work across several brands and industries.

You are all about balancing the fine line between creativity and logic. You are able to come up with the best ideas (both practical and wildly creative), but have the know-how and ability to execute said ideas with the data, research, stats, and knowledge to back it up. Requirements

Your main responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
  • Conceptualising digital campaigns for our clients
  • Developing digital content strategies across various platforms
  • Providing creative direction for content creation
  • Creating content for various digital platforms
  • Ensuring consistency of content and messaging across all channels
  • Provide support and resources as required on new business drives (new business pitches, presentations etc.)
  • Take ownership and responsibility for a number of client portfolios
  • Driving strategies for pitches and new client acquisition
  • Copywriting (conceptual, promotional, video scripts, mailers, newsletters, live reads, radio scripts, social media)
  • Analyse and understand clients’ needs to determine strategic deliverables
  • Be proactive in identifying key engagement opportunities using target audience insights, trends, and innovations
  • Review, debate and present proposed Strategies internally and with client
  • Reviewing and refining work with Head of Strategy
  • Source and develop insights into macro trends; into clients’ businesses, category challenges and consumer needs
What we’ll need from you:
  • Three to five years’ experience in an agency (preferably in digital)
  • A tertiary qualification (preferably in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications)
  • Proven experience in developing, presenting, and executing strategies (we’ll need a portfolio)
  • Strong presentation skills (compiling and presenting)
  • A sound understanding of digital (from the intricacies of Social Media to the nitty-gritty of Search Engine Marketing)
  • To be creative and analytical
  • Be a team player with the ability to play a strong supportive role
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Be open to debate, discussion and guidance
  • Involvement in the creative process and creative execution
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • A willingness to transfer knowledge and skills to junior colleagues
  • A solid understanding and mastering of B2B marketing
