Job description

Rage is looking for a dynamic individual to head up their leasing department. This role provides an opportunity for both personal and professional growth and reports directly to the Operations Executives of Rage - providing ample informal learning scenarios.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Leading the leasing team, assigning the responsibility of tasks and being available to assist each team member in achieving their goals.
  • Overseeing the monthly processing of payment of all rentals and utilities on 620+ stores.
  • Oversee the leasing aspect of opening new stores and relocating or closing current stores.
  • Analyse feasibility of existing and future stores.
  • Identify possible new locations to open stores.
  • Overseeing the solving of account queries and liaising with landlords and Rage executives to find solutions to complex leasing
  • queries.
  • Overseeing the process to renew leases of current stores.
  • Overseeing the process of keeping all databases and relevant information updated.
  • Reporting of progress of the department on a weekly basis.
  • Running customised reports and analysing these to enable senior management decision making in relation to stores.
  • Building relationships and networking with landlords.
  • Attending meetings with landlords.
  • Oversee the process of the claiming of Tenant Installation amounts.
  • Oversee the process of liaising with landlords to sort out issues in stores.
  • Ensure all offers and leases are in order, and work with the team to ensure backlogs are cleared.
  • Managing daily queries with in the leasing department relating to store maintenance.

Candidate requirements:
  • A commerce, business or property related degree, or
  • Four years’ experience in either management or the property sector
