Head of Marketing
|Remuneration:||R750000 - R1000000 per year Cost to company|
|Benefits:||Medical Aid, Retirement Annuity|
|Company:||Henley Business School Africa|
So we’re looking for someone to be our head of marketing, someone who will help us shout our story from every rooftop – on different platforms; from social media to digital apps, legacy print and broadcast networks with equal skill and ease. Someone who will help us attract the next generation of Henley MBAs to be driven to go back out into the world and not just make a difference, but decisively narrow the Gini coefficient that shames us all.
Someone who lives and breathes corporate activism, who will join us in the fight against state capture and corporate collusion. We are not just looking for the normal marketing approach, but someone who understands that Henley Business School Africa is about the purpose rather than product; people, rather than profit.
So who is this person? It’s someone who has a high degree of personal confidence, a thorough understanding of the media landscape and a proven track record in marketing and a healthy humility– as well as an appropriate tertiary qualification.
The ideal candidate also needs the hard skills, not just the theory; of actually driving traffic to our website, managing and growing our social media footprint, preparing marketing material and running events. This is someone who can network with captains of industry and leaders of society as easily as they can lead their team, working with designers, writers, photographers and event planners, while getting on with their faculty colleagues at the same time
It goes without saying that this person can work under pressure and can work across disciplines, seamlessly and simultaneously.
The person must be able to work collaboratively as part of an entrepreneurial team, with grounded and pragmatic leadership. Someone who can show the same entrepreneurial flair that is the hallmark of Henley Business School Africa; from the faculty down to the students themselves.
If you’re that person, sell us on you; apply now and tell our dean, Jon Foster-Pedley, why we need to take a closer look at you.
This is a full-time position.
