Recruitment Secretary/Administrator

Remuneration:R26000 - R27000 per month

Our client has a fantastic new opportunity for a Recruitment Secretary at their established, multinational offices in Sandton.

Daily Duties:
  • Schedule and confirm interviews, and/ or assessments with candidates, relevant consultants and meeting rooms, ensuring that the necessary communication has been delivered to all parties involved 
  • Liaise with candidates to obtain the relevant documentation and information required for the various recruitment checks to ensure a streamlined recruitment process is followed 
  • Ensure that candidates are attended to in reception and all documents are ready for the interview that shall take place 
  • Collate, distribute and file timesheets from temporary staff
  • Update the database of clients, candidates and contacts
  • Conduct and coordinate recruitment checks (references, credit check, qualification verification and criminal check) 
  • Ensure that any recruitment check result discrepancies are reported and highlighted to the recruitment consultant/manager in a timely manner 
  • Adhere to all processes, policies and procedures relevant to the company and the HR department 
Specific Skills/Qualifications:  
  • Matric  
  • Three to five+ years' relevant Recruitment/HR Secretarial and Administration experience 
  • Relevant Secretarial Qualification  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
  • Focused on results and goals orientated
  • Professional, intuitive and analytical in approach to issues and projects  
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong telephonic and email etiquette 
  • Strong PC and  internet literacy (MS Office applications)
  • Fluent written and spoken English with an ability to communicate professionally with candidates, clients and staff 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and tact 
  • High level of reliability and dependability 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or assignments simultaneously 
  • Accurate, proactive, positive approach
