A leading large-format screen and digital printing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join its operations team. This organisation delivers high-quality indoor and outdoor branding solutions, including signage, point-of-sale displays, vehicle branding, exhibitions, billboards, display graphics, banners, and custom branding projects for major corporate clients and advertising agencies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong supplier management, inventory control, and purchasing experience within a manufacturing, printing, signage, packaging, or related production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, consumables, and production-related items.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times, and service agreements.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure best value and quality.
- Raise purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to support uninterrupted production.
- Work closely with production, stores, and finance teams to forecast purchasing requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery performance.
- Monitor supplier performance and address supply chain challenges proactively.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and reporting.
- Assist with stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and procurement audits.
Minimum requirements
- Diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years' procurement experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience within printing, signage, packaging, retail display, branding, or related industries will be highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proven experience managing stock levels and procurement planning.
- Sound understanding of inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/stock management systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
