Key purpose of role

The Digital Sales Account Executive is responsible for supporting and driving digital advertising revenue through the proactive identification, development and sale of integrated digital solutions across VOD, digital audio and display platforms.
The role focuses on executing digital sales strategies by prospecting new clients, managing sales pipelines, packaging audience-led solutions and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercially viable campaigns are brought to market and successfully executed.
The role carries accountability for pipeline development, proposal delivery, deal progression and revenue growth while building strong client relationships and market presence.

Key performances areas

Digital pipeline development:
  • Prospect and build VOD, Audio and Display opportunities
  • Identify new clients and categories
  • Maintain healthy sales pipelines
Solution development and campaign packaging:
  • Develop integrated digital proposals
  • Package audience-led solutions
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders
Deal conversion and revenue delivery:
  • Manage opportunities through to closure
  • Support pricing and negotiations
  • Deliver against revenue targets
Client relationship management:
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Support retention, renewals and upselling
Digital inventory and campaign performance support:
  • Monitor inventory utilisation
  • Collaborate with ad operations and campaign teams
  • Support campaign optimisation


Minimum required qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, media studies or related field.
Qualifications considered advantageous:
  • Postgraduate degree or certification in Project Management, Digital Marketing, or Media Management.
  • Google analytics / digital advertising certifications
Minimum years of experience:
  • 5–8 years within digital media sales or commercial operations
Additional role requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of VOD, digital audio and display advertising
  • Understanding of CPM, CPC, CPA and digital media metrics
  • Digital campaign and audience targeting knowledge
  • Strong financial acumen
  • CRM and sales systems proficiency
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret campaign analytics and optimise performance
