Job description

The Mid Multimedia Designer is the Creative Mind behind advertisements and content, and is a strong visual storyteller.  Self-motivated and confident in both creative and technical abilities, the Multimedia Designer must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced but supportive environment.  

They will be responsible for the design and creation of assets, while working hand-in-hand with other members of the Creative Team, to bring to life and deliver high quality and innovative motion graphic content, that seamlessly integrates with creative marketing campaigns.

Main Responsibilities 
  • Interpret briefs to conceptualize graphic and layout solutions
  • Contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
  • Involvement in and contribution to creative process, brainstorming and briefing sessions
  • Manage design projects from conception to delivery
  • Design original pieces, including illustrations, infographics, GIF animations
  • Edit images, fonts and layouts, using graphic design software
  • Apply typography techniques
  • Maintain brand consistency and CI throughout all marketing projects
  • Quality check final delivered elements
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Liaising with suppliers and external parties/vendors
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Attend all internal (and external) status meetings
  • Design print-ready marketing material including creatives for online, social media, promotional items, branding, banners and any other material as required
  • Assist with ad-hoc marketing team projects as required
  • Assist with basic IT functions such as user access, backups, and network monitoring

Specific standards:  
  • Full competency and growth in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) 
  • Full understanding of web standards, best practice and mobile first
  • Thorough Knowledge of UI/ UX principles
  • Thoroughly understand Digital Design, Art Direction and Production, Video Formats and Codecs 
  • Other Visual Effects Software, 3D advantages 
  • Word & PowerPoint/keynote
  • Capable of pulling together dynamic Presentations


  • Experience with working for a large Corporate or hard hitting Digital Agency, with specific focus on FMCG brands 
  • 3+ years industry experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Motion Graphics preferred
  • Full competency in Adobe Suite 
  • Enthusiasm, passion and a creative flare
  • Experience working on large Digital campaigns, specifically aligned with Social Media
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, as well as excellent attention to detail
