Edgars needs to remember why their good times were so good
This was a really great article, and it helped me with my assisgment and provided me with more insight about how small oversighted things can actually damage the company's brand and make people lose credibility and open doors for increased competition.

Why solar and wind power are ruinously expensive
I think Andrew Kenny should get up to date in his thinking on renewables. In the UK they are now building solar + wind + storage PEAKING plants without subsidy. Compare this to the cost of electricity out of the proposed nuclear plant under construction there. And if you let the ANC build coal plants you end up with a disaster. And if you build gas turbine, at least make them combined cycle and always remember that you need a gas/oil supply contract to go with it, something that Eskom seem to forget!

New Sea Point skyscraper to include affordable housing
How long before those apartments are bought by the wealthy, two knocked into one, and we land up with an overlarge eyesore in Sea Point.Don't bring the people to the city, take the city to the people. City council must move its offices to the Flats where jobs will be closer to where most people live!

How Pick n Pay shelf space boosted this small, family-owned hygiene business
Great business ventures do not necessarily need to immediately hit the big stores but they can actually just start from humble beginnings. From personal usage to expanding their idea to a whole new market simply shows that anyone can tap into a market where there is going to be actual demand. The idea does not necessarily need to be extravagant but something that someone would ultimately see a need for.

Equal pay is not a demand - it's a right
The wage gap doesn't mean inequality. It's the result of different choices between the genders. When you give maximum opportunity to everyone, you maximise the biological differences between men and women. Men tend to work more dangerous jobs, work longer hours and put work first. This doesn't make men better just different to women. Seriously the world wouldn't work if people didn't put families first. I work in an environment were all the top positions are held by women. Listening to them talk about how oppressed they are is just sickening.

Demystifying storage solutions: Hyper-converged vs. SAN solutions
Data is king regardless of whether it is being used by an individual or by a large corporation. Regardless of the purpose, data is needed to ensure progress can be a consistent aspect of daily operations. Thus, proper storage solutions become a huge priority for this factor to be realized which can then be applied accordingly.

Position, position, position
As with every product, you're expected to position your product properly so that you attract the right people! This even applies to a person themselves! If you wanted to attract a potential life partner, you've got to market yourself and be a good product to begin with right?

Recycling is not enough. Zero-packaging stores show we can kick our plastic addiction
You know a lot of people are quite proud of the fact that they "recycle" in their homes, but what I've realised is that there are still so many things that we could be separating into the recycle heap that we just aren't doing. If we want to do our part, we need to make a larger effort!
