6 property development trends forecast for 2020
Not sure which building of theirs you live in but in our block we have a beautiful rooftop garden and my finishes make my parents’ place in Bantry Bay look cheap! I’m not mad about the Airbnb rentals in the block but hey, it’s a sign of the times and I’m grateful for the tourism spend they bring Cape Town.

#BehindtheSelfie with... Doug De Villiers, leader of Deloitte Africa's advertising portfolio
"The massive waste of money as a result of the perpetuation by traditional advertising agencies of big mass-media campaigns that no-one pays attention to, believes or acts upon." That's a big statement. Even for FMCG / QSR / fin brands? Where should the monies then be directed to?

Enough of 'OK, Boomer'
Failure of HR to sort out this ageism issue fairly and satisfactorily, should not prompt one to immediately fall back onto the CCMA for a resolution. There are alternative means and measures available prior to such a drastic move. these include both internal and external resources. For example, appealing to one's work team, supervisor, manager, his or her superior, and of course one's union representative. Failing that, there are several alternative dispute resolution strategies that are available.

Enough of 'OK, Boomer'
In South Africa we are always required to provide an ID number which immediately tells your age. In other countries there is no such requirement and so ageism is less revalent.

6 property development trends forecast for 2020
It's such a pity that visions like this (used as sales points by Blok) never actually materialise. The plants are never planted. The "low cost fittings" are so shocking that you would actually have been happy to pay a bit extra to have something that lasts more the 3 months. And in terms of short-stay options - be very, VERY, careful - this falls away the minute that Blok has handed over to the newly formed body corporate. Lovely pie-in-the-sky article.

#BizFinFocus: Exploring alternative sources of state income
There are some times when it is necessary to raise government income. There are some times when it is necessary to reduce government expenditure. In SA right now, it is the latter.Taxpayers will revolt at the thought of funding a boated Cabinet and civil service; all the wasteful and fruitless expenditure, and writing off debt without trying to recover as much of it as possible e.g. municipalities' Eskom debt.Under such circumstances, increasing taxes has a much smaller resultant increase in government revenue than planned.

What is shaping culture? Pet parents
Very interesting, but with 200-odd and 500-odd followers, the Instagram accounts mentioned above are hardly influencers. "massive followings"??Have a look at accounts like@stylishpaws 12,000 followers@goldengirlcalibear 18,000 followers@holdentheminidachshund 7,000 followersOh, and the @joffypom account doesn't exist.

Olymp Trade: an easy way to earn money on financial markets for beginners and professionals
Olymp Trade is cool brokerage from all points of view, I really like it and I trade it since 2018 and there was no single problem. Support service and facebook community can give you almost all info about trading, so you have just ask. However, I catched in situations when oppinions are divided. Some people in Facebook says that Finacom is just regulator and it doesn't compensate nothing, while support service promise that Finacom compensate in any unfair case, so what's right?
