This is such nonsense. What bumper profits? I saw an article the other day that showed Astral's profits decline by something like 70%. Tariffs don't affect local producers, so how will the price of local chicken increase? This is clearly nothing more than PR spin by AMIE who want to wreck SA industry to they can line their pockets by getting into bed with cheap imports.
The possibilities of the platform are actually limitless. There is a multiplier X200, which gives your trading a bigger scale and allows traders to trade not only with their budget. There is an economic calendar, which is indispensable when trading on the news. In Forex there is no spread. You can trade pips.
I advise everyone to read the article about Agile Metrics from the company Jelvix. Link here: Also, check out the work of this team as a whole. Explanatory developers from Ukraine, I assure you :)
It would seem the Commissioner overstepped the bounds of his/her jurisdiction in this matter. The dispute was about the dismissal, and by reasoning the Commissioner seem to have assumed the interpretation and application of the LRA. I might be misguided but it seems the Commissioner has overstepped his powers on this one, unless in determining the true nature of the dispute the Commissioner had discerned that the real dispute was about interpretation and application of Section 198B not dismissal.
As an ex BCO, I have long held the view which has been upheld by this judgement and am delighted that this has come to pass. All to often the approval of building plans is relegated to a deemed-to-satisfy, box-ticking exercise. It is also my view that the appointment of the BCO by a local authority cannot be taken lightly and as far as the Metro Councils are concerned, the qualification of that individual should not simply be to meet the requirement of Section A16 of the Regulations, but to be commensurate with the complexity of the City in question.
What if I join Public sector , resigned from private sector and applied to a position of which I was doing at the private sector, is that still competitors?
This is just greedy corporate again.Dont tell me that Astral Foods with a nett profit of R766 million rands for the prior financial year has the interests of their staff at heart,by the way they use labour brokers so jobs isnt a playing card. Its the shareholders you want to protect.Give South Africans the choice of what they want to buy.If poultry production is at risk then perhaps a lower bottom line but 766 million for the last year?I hardly think imported chicken is making a dent in local production.Use your healthy nett profits and reduce your selling price of chicken to be more competitive instead of lobying government to bail you out.Its called competition. What about the SA poultry industry exports? How does that work that SA producers may export their chicken but other countries may not do it.Where is the fairness in that? The Chief Financials officer stated in the financial results its the best year in history for Astral since leaving Tiger..2018 audited company results highlights nett profit.Seeing government doesnt subsidise you why dont you do it your self? With 766 million nett profit as well?Stop being greedy-reduce your nett profit and pass on the savings to South Africans. They might buy more.JFK-ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.”
I just felt like the information provided about Telkom, Vodacom and MTN being the only providers that offer a WhatsApp specials, is true but they are not the only providers? How come this article fails to mention Cell C and their special offers? Melissa
They've got it wrong. You can't bring the people to the city, you have to take the city to the people!!The city centre is in the wrong place. The business centre ought to be in the region of Epping - between the N1 & N2 and east of the M5. That is the only sensible place for people movement purposes. So lets make it happen - City, move your offices there, zone it for mixed use, build tertiary education facilities there etc..
On behalf of all the wealthy - bye bye....Yes we have an unequal distribution, but the solution is not to take away from the successful, but rather to grow the earning capacity of the poor. This is where the government has WASTED the money it had (after the theft).Provide a decent education for all and the result will be an population that will pull itself out of poverty. In every generation, new people will amass great wealth, what we need is for everybody in every generation to improve upon the wealth of their parents.
