Survey reveals South Africa's 12 most loved local businesses
It is articles like these that can give the research industry a bad name. How can you call this SA's most loved local businesses? What % awareness is there of these businesses amongst South Africans? My guess is a very small percentage. In addition, some of these categories did not have national samples. Can two or three provinces speak for the rest of the provinces? Next these businesses will claim to be the best in SA on the grounds of research!

Disillusioned
How can we fix the South African economy and create jobs?
There are a number things we can to do jump start the economy. This starts with major reforms of the labour and tax laws. The income tax legislation at present is strangling the economy and works for only the very rich. Over the past few years the Government has enacted many new provisions into the Income Tax Act which destroys small businesses and the ability for citizens to create wealth. This is one of the major problems. One only has to look at the recent developments with regards to the so called expat tax. This legislation should never have been passed as it will encourage South African's who work outside the country to remove their wealth permanently from South Africa. It is a case of greed on the part of SARS. The conversation in South Africa needs to change direction and start to concentrate on investment and job creation and not complex tax legislation. Curiously, the Government wonders why it is so difficult for new emerging people with wealth to take place. Can start to removing CGT to fix this problem and some of the other related tax legislation. We need a far more tax investment friendly policy and investment strategy. Tax incentives to counter the aggressive tax legislation simply does not work. Also, the trust and confidence in tax policy needs to be restored. We were promised low rates of inclusion of CGT. Over time the Government broke this promise and has eroded the trust and thus confidence in the long run. Begins to explain why their very few jobs and little investment is South Africa relative to what is needed.

Olymp Trade: an easy way to earn money on financial markets for beginners and professionals
I want to say that Olymp has a great trading platform. All elements are intuitive. I find the only drawback in the absence of a complete description of the capabilities of the platform. For example, I learned about the presence of delayed orders not so long ago, but it turned out that these orders were entered into the platform in February. I don’t read mail in vain!)))

In BBC interview, Tanzanian foreign minister says journalist Azory Gwanda is dead
At least the government must tell the nation what caused his death or how he died. Someone knows what happened.

#BizTrends2019: Online car sales - destructive disruption or unique opportunity?
.I can't imagine that someone would want to buy a car entirely online. With the kind of money that you're spending on it, at the very least, you're going to want to take a test drive to make sure that even a brand new one is in good working order and doesn't have any quirks!

How I applied for a job that didn't exist
Hi Joe, Thank you for the comment. If you do get help with your CV, make sure that the process is not just limited to the CV itself, but rather, the point should be to better you. Not the CV per se. The most critical phase of the process is understanding yourself. When you have better self-awareness, you will better market yourself, because you will know what you want. Knowing what you want will help you focus your energies where they should be. Meaning, instead of sending your CV everywhere and hoping for a break, you will know WHO to send your CV to. This alone allows you to stand out from the rest.

Great article! You said we must stand out of the pack with our CVs. Maybe I should hire professional resume writers to get a good CV? What do you think about it?

Olymp Trade: an easy way to earn money on financial markets for beginners and professionals
Well OK, a broker dumped you. My sympathies. That happens sometimes when you deal with some obscure companies that you choose at random. But what does it have to do with Olymp Trade? As far as I know, this company isn't a scam, at least I've been trading here for more than a year and made a withdrawal, and there was no trouble at all.Yet something tells me that nobody screwed you, and your money wasn't delayed. You're just trying to promote some shady money refund scheme... As far as I heard, such schemes are much more likely to appear fraudulent than actually the brokers.

Future of travel: British Airways looks to AI to improve air travel experiences
I really wouldn't be surprised if AI and technology would take over all of our traffic and road management systems in the near future. It's a behemoth of a system though. I reckon that they would need a helluva lot of planners on the job to make sure that everything is done properly!
