Why South Africa should seriously consider taxing its wealthy citizens
On behalf of all the wealthy - bye bye....Yes we have an unequal distribution, but the solution is not to take away from the successful, but rather to grow the earning capacity of the poor. This is where the government has WASTED the money it had (after the theft).Provide a decent education for all and the result will be an population that will pull itself out of poverty. In every generation, new people will amass great wealth, what we need is for everybody in every generation to improve upon the wealth of their parents.

Unfortunately, this cannot be left to conscience of individual agents/agencies but should be regulated under professional conduct rules.

It's not clear where human rights fit in the legal ruling on athlete Caster Semenya
The decision raises more questions than it answers:Why not apply it to the strength events - eg discus? If people are discriminated against based on the way they were born because that gives them an unfair advantage, then does Usain Bolt have an unfair advantage?Rather worry about artificial advantage - there is enough cheating going on to keep the IAAF busy.

Cannabis legalisation offers medical research opportunities
Alternative medicine is more accepted nowadays due to its promising results unlike pharmaceutical medicine, alternative medicine doesn’t give a negative effect such as kidney and liver problems when it comes to long term use. As for my alternative medicine usage, I use medical marijuana. The different strain has a variety of uses and effects depending on your needs. Like this marijuana strain This strain has a very potent effect on chronic pains like back pain and joint pain and a lot more. The benefits of marijuana, specifically the CBD cannabinoid, are undeniable. Let's take a look at all of the ways CBD is helping patients every day.

Will we ever witness a superhero spectacle as grand as Avengers: Endgame?
If you want to really feel this way again, on a more emotional level, rewatch the Lord Of The Rings saga and The Hobbit....

My prospective employer did what?
In the 2007 Human Capital Management Annual, I wrote then that employers could and would use the web to see what posts had been made by a prospective employee. Already My Chat could provide researchers with enough background to make deductions. Today, the public access to people's comments is freely available, making the concept of POPIA irrelevant, when accessing a public site. I recently Googled 5 candidates' web profiles to ascertain what was not being told. Interestingly enough, the HR agency had not picked up a very public firing for corruption and theft. The explanation given was not plausible.

Olymp Trade: an easy way to earn money on financial markets for beginners and professionals
In terms of educational activities, support and interaction with the clients Olymp is the best broker I’ve been working with. They conduct webinars, only they have real offices (as far as I know). Exactly moments like this inspire confidence that the company really exists and you can work with it and trust your money. And also trading conditions are quite nice ;)

May the 4th industrial revolution leave no child behind - Part 1
Interesting perspective there Chumisa. When you look at school tour destinations in township and rural schools, you find that they go to nearby urban destinations like the beach, the museum, the city centre, the malls and parks. Whereas children from former model c school and private schools are already exposed to those places at home and school tours are for more educational purposes like visiting chemical factories or other places of educational interests relating to something discussed in class and in other cases even exchanges programmes with international schools. My mother, who taught natural sciences in a township school 10 years ago said they would even struggle to demonstrate science experiments because the tools provided by the Department of Education would have been stolen. They would have to "imagine" what the experiment results would look like using the few shared textbooks in overcrowded classes and yet science experiments are definitely better when made practical because they can be relatable.

Key steps to creating a crisis communications plan
All Crises have perceptual and reality components. This is what I teach in my training courses. The same message and planning approach is contained in this DIY Toolkit http://www.deonbinneman.com/toolkits-and-products/crisis-capability-toolkit/. The Capability Toolkit increases an organization’s Crisis Readiness Capability in a World where information flows in Nanoseconds. (Wikipedia defines capability as the ability to perform actions. As it applies to crisis management, capability is the sum of capacity and ability). It now comes with all my Crisis Toolkit and the Training Materials of the Real-Time Crisis Management course at one special bundled price.

Food inflation likely to go up due to expected lower maize output
"However, this is too optimistic given that late plantings of over a month during the optimal planting period for summer crops is likely to have a huge impact on the final 2018/19 season maize output." Pure speculation!! The late plantings are already taken into account by the National Estimates Committee and I don't think that you have the knowledge or background to question there estimates!

Business called to lead transformation in fishing industry
Whilst the transformation of the sector is important, such transformation cannot just take place by transferring shares and ownership,. there has to be investment and growth for the sector as well as job creation. we cannot all be fishing from the same pool and expect to reap greater rewards? Anyone with the requisite, skills, experience and work ethic should in their own rights be able to attract the investment needed to grow from a small scale fisherman to a bigger operation.

Why South Africa should seriously consider taxing its wealthy citizens
1. I would question whether such tax money would even get to the poorest, except in the form of housing, VAT, etc.2. My financial future as a pensioner is not secure as it is.3. I may follow my children offshore, with whatever assets I have.4. Our cost of living increases by at least double the official inflation rate.5. Is it not high time to address our population growth? The net growth is around 1.5 million per year and growing exponentially.Where are the schools, hospitals, other infrastructure and JOBS going to come from? We will simply have even higher inequality, with or without wealth tax.If we were to give ALL the wealth to the 80%,we would simply ALL be poor in the future and getting poorer because the numbers of unemployable people will keep growing.

Landmark NYSE listing for Africa's unicorn, Jumia
This is what other business owners should be looking up to and aiming to achieve one fine day. Every business has its ups and downs and it is only a matter of time and effort being put through before the eventual goal can be achieved eventually. The whole process cannot obviously be done overnight and it requires proper strategy to make sure things work out as planned.
