The DStv family of bouquets now offers six different bouquets, priced from R20 a month.
The latest addition, DStv Lite, will cost 99 rand per month and comprise of 25 video channels, 32 radio and 10 DMX music channels.
The various options to subscribers are as follows: DStv EasyView R20, DStv Lite R99, DStv Select 1 R148, DStv Select 2 R148, DStv Compact R232 and DStv Premium R529.
In addition, existing bouquets will be improved, it said.
DStv Select 1 will get 8 additional video channels, to have a total of 34 video channels, 32 radio and 10 DMX music channels.
DStv Select 2 will get 6 additional video channels, to have a total of 32 video channels, 32 radio and 10 DMX music channels.
DStv Compact will get 4 additional video channels, to have a total of 44 video channels, 32 radio and 10 DMX music channels.

The new improvements will come into effect at on Friday.
The satellite TV market in South Africa is hotting up, with a new player - On Digital Media's (ODM) TopTV - set to start operating on May 1.
The company on Thursday unveiled its offering, which provides seven different pricing options, from R99 and R149 rand a month.
Vino Govender, CEO of ODM said the new offering would include entertainment across all genres including News and Knowledge, Movies, Family and Sport, Kids, Music and Cultural programming.
"Some of the highlights of these channels include the Top History channel which will bring the history of South Africa to the fore as never before, BBC News, Eurosport News, 6 dedicated 24 hour movie channels, as well as services for the Portuguese and French communities in South Africa," Govender said.
ODM said TopTV had secured programming and channels from media giants including Fox, Warner, Disney, CBS and Discovery, and it added that nine locally developed channels would also be included.
On Digital Media has an effective BEE shareholding of 68% and was awarded an ICASA Pay TV License in September 2007 and issued the license in July 2008.
