One week until WTM Africa 2015 officially opens

The City of Cape Town is the place to be this month as WTM® Africa begins on 15 April 2015
With just under one week to go, momentum and excitement around WTM® Africa 2015 is swiftly building. As Africa's leading B2B exhibition for inbound and outbound Africa travel and tourism, and with over 500 exhibitors on board, WTM® Africa 2015 is on track to exceed 2014's outstanding results.

Through its industry networks, global reach and regional focus, WTM® Africa 2015 will create personal and business opportunities providing exhibitors, visitors and buyers with a diverse array of offerings, from world-renowned networking opportunities to interactive and trendsetting conferences and panel discussions presented by internationally acclaimed experts.

With Table Mountain as the picturesque backdrop, Cape Town is The Official Host City for WTM® Africa and Africa Travel Week. Cape Town is a premier urban tourism destination with much to offer local and international visitors. 2015's show will kick off at the CTICC on 15 April 2015 with an official opening address by the Executive Mayor of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille. Included in the list of 500 exhibitors showcasing their premium services at WTM® Africa 2015 are five of the nine South African provinces: Gauteng, Nelson Mandela Bay (Eastern Cape), The Northern Cape, The North West Province and The Western Cape.

Mix business with pleasure in the province of gold, Gauteng. Africa's economic heartbeat is home to a multicultural mixing pot of people, offering world-class city lifestyle experiences, where ancient history and heritage live side by side with nature, modern design and innovation.

The Gauteng Tourism Authority is proud to be the sponsor of WTM® Africa's 2015 Digital Hub, providing visitors with the opportunity to charge devices, gain access to emails and the internet via the convenient Wi-Fi hotspot as well as a comfortable station area for attendees to sit back and relax in between networking sessions.

The city of Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB) incorporating Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and Despatch in the Eastern Cape is the only city in the world named after the iconic former South African President Nelson Mandela who was also a humanitarian and freedom fighter.

The Northern Cape boasts an extraordinary South African holiday experience. Take to the open road. Discover misty seaports, mining legends, experience a world of wilderness. Be one with Africa's animal kingdom in the vast desert sands. Celebrate and dance with the First People. Gasp at the night-time skies and the dreamscapes of flower fields in the springtime.

The North West Province is a must-see destination - one that is diverse and exciting. They offer some of the finest game reserves, cultural sights, archaeological treasures, as well as entertainment resorts. The North West is all about the authentic African bush experience and it is the hot, dry African climate which is truly unique.

In the heart of South Africa and the Western Cape, boasting award-winning beaches and World Heritage Sites such as Table Mountain and Robben Island, Cape Town forms the ideal destination for tourists. Always busy and constantly on the cutting edge, this diverse city offers something for everyone.
