L&D Meetup Sessions #Finance - Free online event on employee development for HR leaders in finance

Until recently, the finance industry was hardly associated with dynamic changes. The year 2020 undoubtedly accelerated them, due to factors such as the need for social distancing or falling profitability. It also showed that the people who make up the organisation are the most important link needed to adapt to changing business circumstances. It was their needs and development that had to come first in order to maintain business continuity and, in the long term, better financial performance.

Departments responsible for developing talent management and employee development strategies were therefore at the forefront of the battle against sudden change.

This fall, HCM Deck invites you to participate in a new edition of L&D Meetup. L&D Meetup Sessions #Finance is a series of keynotes by global L&D thought leaders from the financial industry. They will talk about the biggest challenges the past year thrust upon them, their current endeavors, and best practices, especially useful for L&D and HR professionals from the field.

The event is made up of multiple interactive sessions, full of discussions and Q&As. They will take place at different dates to best suit your schedule. Here are some of the L&D Meetup presentations:
  • September 30th, 2021, 10 am CEST, Gautam Duggal, Global Director of Talent and Learning for Data & Services at Mastercard will deliver his keynote “Building Skills Everyday”. Gautam will speak about ownership of career journey, learning events that address the needs once they arise in real time, and building the adaptability muscle.
  • October 14th, 2021, 10:15 am CEST, Rojiniño Enriquez, Head of Talent Management at China Bank PH will speak about “Succession management amidst uncertain times: developing leaders for the future and now”.
