Do you have global appeal?

It's that time of year again and CineMARK once again invites young local talent to enter the 2004 Young Creatives Competition. If you've not yet turned 28 and think you can compete internationally, get your entry in before 7 May 2004.

This year, entrants are required to create a storyboard for a cinema commercial celebrating South Africa's people, places, culture and rich history. Targeted at all cinema patrons in the major urban centres.

The deadline for entries is Friday, 7 May 2004. Creative teams, comprising a copywriter and an art director, who were born after 26 June 1975, are eligible to enter. All A2 storyboards should be delivered mounted, with your full details on the reverse side, to Lynne Wylie, CineMARK, 5th Floor, Primedia House, Cnr Gwen Lane & Fredman Drive, Sandown, Johannesburg.

With the prize sponsored by CineMARK and valued at R40 000, the winning team, judged by an independent panel, will represent South Africa at the International Young Creatives Award in Cannes. Broadening their horizons at this year's Cannes International Advertising Festival, the young creatives will attend a two-day workshop, the press and poster awards ceremony, view the film short list, and eventually be able to let their hair down at the Young Creatives party.

For creative talent still in the making, there is also a student section to the competition, offering invaluable exposure for entrants. A student team is required to answer the same brief and stands to win CineMARK VIP movie cards entitling them to unlimited free movies to the end of 2004.

Be a part of this once in a lifetime experience and put yourself on the map of creative thinkers!
