Mellet leaves Seswa

IT specialist PR company HMC Seswa Corporate Communications, which recently completed a transaction with Mazole Holdings to peg black ownership of the company at 66,6%, has announced the departure of company founder Howard Mellet.

Mellet spearheaded the 100% sale of the company, which he founded some 23 years ago, to Mazole Holdings in August this year.

He will be leaving full time employment with HMC Seswa to pursue new career options both in South Africa and Australia from January 2006.

"I have had a wonderful career within Howard Mellet Communications initially and later HMC Seswa. I feel confident that the company's new owners, Mazole Holdings, will take great care of the company, its staff and its clients," Mellet says.

Mazole Holdings was ounded in 1997 by its Chairman Dan Moyane, whose full time position is Executive Chairman of Primedia Broadcasting. Other shareholders include Johanna McDowell, an experienced member of the marketing, PR and, advertising industry and Markus Moses, who owns and runs Ndawo Consulting, an executive coaching and human capital specialist company.

McDowell says: "My role here is to build this team and its members to director level over the next 12 months, at which point a new MD will be appointed from within the company."
