Free retail seminars from Universal

The Universal Print Group, point-of-purchase / marketing at-retail provider to the FMCG sector in SA, will be hosting a series of seminars around the country during the first week of April, presented by international industry specialists Richard Blatt, president and chief executive officer and Sean Simmons, general manager for global development, of POPAI - the Global Association for Marketing at-Retail.

POPAI is an international organisation with over 1 100 member companies in 25 countries outside the USA. It is the industry's most significant representative body and the global authority on anything to do with marketing at-retail, representing an industry that is now valued in excess of $30 billion. This is the first official visit of POPAI representatives to South Africa.

Yatish Mehta, managing director of the Universal Print Group: Point of Sale Division, says: "Our Group prides itself on its innovative and leading edge technologies and print communication solutions. Sharing information with global leaders is good for the industry locally."

The free seminars promise to be of immense value to participating companies. Material will be based on the accumulated insights and learnings of POPAI, including the findings of formal research into marketing at-retail within a number of countries that lead developments in this sector.

Additional information about the free Marketing At-Retail seminars and application details for attendance can be found at www.uniprint.co.za.

Whilst in SA, the POPAI representatives also plan to establish a local office to serve the South African marketing at-retail industry, including retailers, brand marketers, advertising agencies, POP suppliers, etc. To learn more about POPAI call Joe Finizio on 0912025303006 or log on to www.popai.com.
