TFG involves its employees in CSI initiatives so that they can be a part of the journey in making a real difference in local communities. That’s why TFG launched a Winter Drive initiative during which employees could purchase blankets produced by TFG’s manufacturing arm, Prestige Clothing.

Prestige trains and upskills previously unemployed individuals to make these blankets which are then donated to disaster relief or organisations such as MES.

In the true spirit of “ubuntu”, TFG employees contributed a total of R350,000 to the initiative by buying the blankets made by their Prestige trainees! All proceeds have been donated to MES.

“Working together in order to support our local communities is an important aspect of TFG’s culture and we are proud of our employees who continue to display the strength of our company’s values.” - Kathryn Sakalis, Head: TFG Marketing & eCommerce.
