This year's ABF Crazy Golf Day themed James Bond

The ABF's much anticipated annual ‘Crazy Golf Day' will take place on the 4 November 2009 at Kyalami Country Club. Bookings are open, and this year the ABF has chosen ‘James Bond' as its central theme.
Giles Shepherd, ABF President says, “The Crazy Golf Day is always sold out within days of opening for bookings and we're certain this year will be no exception. We encourage those brave enough to dress up in true 007 style and companies wanting to sponsor holes can tailor these to any Bond movie or theme of their choice.”

The floating trophy for Best Course Activity is given to hole sponsors who will be judged on their 007 activities by players who will allocate a score to each sponsor based on their experience.

The Crazy Golf Day is renowned for raucous behaviour, fun and entertainment on the course and at the after party. Prizes are always aplenty, and the auction always sees companies walking away with incredible bargains on media space, airtime, holiday packages and other deals.

Four balls cost R2800 which includes green fees, dinner and an annual membership to the ABF. Caddies and carts are for player's own accounts. Hole sponsorship is free, as long as the company provides snacks, drinks and entertainment at the hole in accordance with the theme. Various sponsor packages are also available, and companies are invited to provide anything for the auction.

To confirm your four balls and sponsorships, email Sharlene on or call her on 083 452 6191.

Advertising Benevolent Fund
Everyone knows the ABF in the ad industry, well that's how it used to be. With the constant flow of fresh blood being injected into our industry, the ABF has seemed to be left in the forgotten realms of the minds of the veteran crews of advertising.
