Kalahari.net increases depth

During the two-week launch phase of its music shop, Kalahari.net saw an increase of 228% in customer acquisition and sales for the period 284.7% higher than the average.

Hein Pretorius, general manager of Kalahari.net, says that they are looking to increase their product depth into other areas, like DVDs, and that this strategy is instrumental in driving sales in other areas. Since the launch of their music shop turnover in other product areas has seen a significant increase, with books up by 26%, DVDs and videos up by 32.6% and computerware sales up by 55%.
