Before joining XDS, Dr. De Wet consulted on credit risk modelling and validation at Absa. Initially he served as credit risk modeller, leading teams of modellers in building Basel II models. Subsequently, he was asked to form and manage the credit risk modelling and validation team to produce a model validation and performance monitoring governance framework. He holds two Masters Degrees in Statistics, and his PhD in Statistics is from the University of Chicago.
