2011 Maputo International Ad Festival set for May

The sixth Maputo International Advertising Festival will take place from 25-27 May 2011, AMEP - the Mozambican Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations Association announced yesterday. The festival recognises advertising agencies, producers and communications companies worldwide especially from Africa and the Indian Ocean regions.

Accra to host 2011 SME event

Accra, Ghana will be hosting an international business conference and exhibition aimed at growing businesses, promoting an enabling environment for the private sector as well as creating jobs and alleviating poverty. The event, Business Sense 2011 takes place at the Accra International Conference Centre from 25-26 February 2011.

Upper east holds exhibition of made-in-Africa products

A five-day exhibition of made-in-Africa products and cultural awareness creation is underway in Bolgatanga in the upper east region. It seeks to showcase potentials of the northern, upper east and upper west regions and provide avenue for Africans in the Diaspora to easily trace their roots and invest in Ghana.
