Angolan president inaugurates satellite telecommunications system

The satellite telecommunications system of multi-sectoral assistance dubbed "INFRASAT" has been inaugurated in Luanda by Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, according to a report from Angola Press Agency (ANGOP).

SA firm opens imaging bureau in Luanda

South African enterprise content management (ECM) firm Digital Archiving Systems (DAS) has opened an imaging bureau in the Angolan capital. The enterprise, which is worth US$250,000, will see the employment of 10 skilled ECM workers.

Kenya, Burundi and Madagascar secure funds for hi-speed internet
