The annual Makhulu Polane t-shirt design competition is open for entries from Thursday, 16 July 2009. This local initiative was started by Big Blue in 2006 in a quest to discover and support fresh home-grown talent.

Africa leads in international design

The Icograda Executive Board of Directors for the 2007-2009 term was elected during the close of the Icograda General Assembly in Havana, Cuba last month. To represent Africa, Mohammed Jogie was elected as vice-president to the Board.

From 2D to 3D with Rwanda's Gasabo

The Rwandan ICT is designing a 3D computer graphics program which will aid manufacturers' conversions of 2D models. This application, called Gasabo 3D Design, will be exported to the United States.
