Libya's International Security and Safety Exhibition & Conference is expected to take place from 26-28 November 2013 at the Tripoli International Fairground, under the Patronage of Libya's Ministry of Defence and sponsored and supported by Libya's Ministry of Interior.

2011 Maputo International Ad Festival set for May

The sixth Maputo International Advertising Festival will take place from 25-27 May 2011, AMEP - the Mozambican Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations Association announced yesterday. The festival recognises advertising agencies, producers and communications companies worldwide especially from Africa and the Indian Ocean regions.

Bamako Encounters Biennial 2011 open for entries

Co-organised and co-produced by Mali's Ministry of Culture and l'Institut français, the Bamako Encounters Biennial has been held every two years since 1994, focusing on issues in contemporary photography and video in Africa. This year's event runs from 5 November - 5 December 2011. The organisers have opened the event for applications from artists.
