Strauss & Co to sell one of the world's most reproduced paintings

Frans Oerder's still life, Blossom Time, will be sold at Strauss & Co's much anticipated Evening Sale on Monday, 20 May, in the Wanderers Club Ballroom. This magnificent large-scale work is partner to his Magnolias, both of which were purchased by the New York Graphic Society for the purpose of reproducing them. The reproductions first went on sale in 1939 and proved to be extremely popular.
