Referred to as the &amp;quot;Deco Bible&amp;quot;, the book was published in 1931 by the same publishing house that produced the renowned fine arts magazine, &lt;i&gt;The Studio&lt;/i&gt;. From the Paris-based Maison de Tolmer publishing house, only 1500 English copies were printed, and it sold out in three months, regardless of the hefty price tag of £5.
