Good news for the recruitment industry is the announcement of the Times Media Recruitment Awards winners. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, 16 November 2013, at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton honouring SA's top recruitment professionals.

Still on the awards theme, SA's sports stars glittered at the 2013 South African Sports Awards on Sunday evening. And the winner? No, not human torpedo Chad Le Clos, cricketer Hashim Amla, wheelchair tennis player Lucas Sithole or athlete Mapaseka Makhanya, but Itumeleng Khune, Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana captain.

But it costs money... a lot of money. That's why Eden to Addo needs financial support. The Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative has received a promise of R8m in government funding, if the project itself raises R500,000 before the end of 2013.
