| Apple Watch bobs to local shoresThe Apple Watch is now available in South Africa through the country's largest e-tailer, takealot.com. The Sport model can be purchased in three different colours - white, green and blue - for R9,999, and comes with a 38mm silver case. The black Apple Watch will be released shortly. The device is an iPhone compatible smartwatch which allows the user to read email or social media notifications, summon Siri, make calls and track your heart rate, among other things, all through the watch on your wrist. The watch is expected to hit the iStore in South Africa sometime in June, but the date is yet to be confirmed. |
