Long Beach - long on service, long on... well, everything

[Rod Baker] Long Beach, Sun Resorts' new hotel development on the Belle Mare Peninsula, on the east coast of Mauritius, opened its doors to the media in early June to sample what has been designed to be a one-of-a-kind hotel for guests who have had the opportunity to stay there since it opened in April 2011. er... The article refers to Internet users, not Nigeria's population. i.e. the number of Internet users in Nigeria. Have a look at http://www.internetworldstats.com/africa.htm - the figures are probably not 100% accurate as some are given as being for 2010, others for 2009, but they do give a good indication of what Internet usage in Africa is like. Remember, we're talking Internet USERS, and NOT total POPULATION.

Your so-called 'Wall-less toilets' were erected with the agreement of the community. The options, due to budgetry contraints, were one walled toilet per five families, or, a toilet per family, and the family would erect the enclosure around it. The community decided upon the second option. Out of more than1200 or so families involved, all - apart from about 50 - enclosed their toilets. About 50 did not. They caused the trouble, but when the City of CT enclosed the 50 anyway, ANCYL thugs came in and demolished them. The facts have been repeated time and again - can you not understand them? As for the cadre shuffle, in today's Times Justice Malala dismisses the shuffle as little more than fiddling while Rome burns. There has been a leadership vacuum in this country for the 18 months or so, so forgive people for being somewhat circumspect in not greeting this latest effort with unalloyed enthusiasm.
