Hi there, I am an attorney, entrepreneur and teacher based in Cape Town, the fast-growing hub of tech and new media entrepreneurship in Africa. As one of the first specialist information and technology lawyers in South Africa, I have been fortunate to work with some great people over the last 10 years from companies like Google, Dimension Data, UCT, Quirk Marketing, Hip2B2, BizCommunity, and many exciting start-ups in the tech, media, creative and entertainment industries. I am a big believer in making the law more accessible to entrepreneurs, reducing the complexity and all the red tape that slows business success down. I want to debunk the age-old stereotype that the law and lawyers are simply another unavoidable cost of doing business, and encourage people to use the law proactively to unlock new opportunities.
