Emanating from two universities renowned for their high standards, Wits and Rhodes have refined me into a studious, self-motivated, determined, and often exhausted zombie. These qualities have served me well when conducting qualitative research at undergraduate and at postgraduate level at both these institutions. And, although I have extensively developed my data collection and data analysis skills, I would love to participate in social labour planning strategies that deal with the intersection between socio-economic policy orientated issues revolving around community development in mineral rich former bantustans in South Africa.
