I worked at Johannesburg city parks and zoo as an Environmental Officer (Intern) from 1 August 2014 to 31 July 2015. i was performing the following duties: Understudying the Regional Senior Horticulture in and performing Environmental and Horticultural related activities and duties in the Regional Maintenance, Parks, Sidewalks, Public Open Space, Main Arterial Roads and Road Islands of Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo: duties and performed include. Doing daily environmental sites monitoring and inspections and once defects or problems are observed, I log a call to respective departments to fix or repair the defects in time. Compilation of monitoring feedback report with photographic evidence to show that all defects logged are closed.
Compile and develop quarterly Balance score card with relevant evidence for my mentor.
Writing of parks, sidewalks, public open spaces, main arterial roads and roads islands status report. Compile weekly and monthly depot activities reports.
Attends and facilitates weekly tool box tools according scheduled by SHEQ Co ordinator. Attend departmental meetings, Regional and depot maintenance meetings in the regions and give feedback in the form of report to my mentor. Conduct SHE inspections on facilities, machinery, equipments, employees and that include both in and out doors within the Klipspruit Depot. Conduct job/tasks observation on internal employees. I have also worked at South African National Defense Force under South African Military Health Service as Logistic Clerk For the period of (2007 to 2008) Two Years until the contract expired. my duties was Receiving of stock. Issuing of stock. Doing stock taking. Reporting of any equipments damage for fixing and repair. Ordering of stocking.
