Staff Compliment: 1 Direct report Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement marketing strategies and activities in line with the company's vision and mission statement. • Collaborate with top management to create an overall Sales & Marketing strategy to achieve immediate and long term business objectives. • Analyze how travelers connect and engage with online content, consequently creating and successfully implementing a social media content calendar by capitalizing on social media trends, insights and measurement tools. • Explore new partnerships to create opportunities for cross promotion/selling and co-branding. • Identify and develop activities to drive lead generation, create brand awareness, generate loyalty and guest satisfaction amongst travelers and key partner communities. • Create a digital marketing strategy (social media and e-commerce), to optimize promotional activities that will accelerate B2C sales growth in priority markets. • Work closely with all departments, seeking proactive marketing opportunities and promotions to address specific business challenges or creating additional revenue channels. • Manage and promote the hotel on all available online channels including Dusit.com, SEO, SEM and all social media platforms. • Monitor, track and drive all booking engines/online travel agents (OTAs) i.e. Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda, TripAdvisor Business Listing, Kiwi Collection etc. • Commercial and technological competitive intelligence analysis at national and international level (products, market prices, trends, content mix etc.) • Formulate the annual marketing & communication plan 2017 for Dusit Thani Maldives as well as determine and control the marketing budget. • Engage and strengthen media relations by hosting celebrities, editors, publishers and journalists • Create and implement marketing campaigns by analyzing key indicators (forecasts, occupancy, margins etc.). Equipping the sales teams with the relevant collateral and information to implement these promotional activities. Key Accomplishments: • Attained PR value for the resort worth over $ 976,541.00 USD YTD, across leading lifestyle, fashion, travel and trade publications from Russia, UK, Germany, China, Middle East, USA, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong. • Spearheaded global branding tie-ups with Bangkok Airways, Hello! Magazine ME and UK, OK Magazine UK and DailyMail.uk covering print, digital and online media verticals. • Played a crucial role towards garnering awards namely, Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards 2016, Prestigious Star Awards 2016, The International Hotel Awards 2016/2017, TripAdvisor Awards 2016, Luxury Travel Guide 2016 among others.

Key accomplishments: Standard Bank • Since joining the account, the client grew year on year with 48.6% profit to our company. • Expanded the account to Standard Bank Africa. • Assisted the client with contract work in addition to designing activations stands, creating sales educational manuals, merchandising style guides for POS, designing Standard Bank Prestige Lounge at the O.R Tambo International Airport, designed and implemented artwork for Standard Bank loyalty programme. Distell • Pitched and won the Three Ships Whisky advertising agency account. • Successfully created, implement and executed two summer cycle programmes. • Launched a new product called ‘Savanna Angry Lemon’ and product upgrade ‘Savanna Pack Upgrade’ to the market. • Designed and produced point-of-sale units and collateral to increase brand awareness and drive on/off consumption. Beechies • Successfully implemented a programme to monitor, track and ensure efficiency of sales teams. • Created various strategies and sales kits to support sales teams with targets. • Designed and produces point-of-sale units to drives sales in-store. Kellogg’s • Liaised with various retailers to change the cereal category as a whole. This gave Kellogg’s a significant increase in market share and competitive edge in South-Africa. • Created marketing and brand strategies for the marketing, brand and sales teams.
