Kirsty is an expert in visual communication and project management. She specializes in finding solutions that are both creative and practical using integrated communication across various multimedia platforms.

As well as running General Post, the only supplier of post-production crew to the film and TV industry, Kirsty consults as a communications strategist. With her background in theatre and corporate communications and her interest in the possibilities of new media, Kirsty enjoys the challenge of getting her hands dirty with strategy and project management.

While her career started in theatre and traditional film production Kirsty soon realised that integrating new media platforms with the traditional models created far more opportunities for effective communication.

Lately she has been very involved in working on integrated communication platforms. These platforms are custom-designed internet or intranet based programs that allow members of a network to integrate and share business knowledge and practices within an organization or group on a worldwide network hosted on the world wide web.

Integrated Communication Platforms allow multiple levels of communication between users, departments, branches and countries creating a training, information and communication platform similar to social networking platforms such as Facebook that keep people informed, updated and educated on the latest company developments or initiatives.
