- Research international trends and develop new dairy products for the South African market.
- Manage key accounts; Woolworths, Spar and Pick n' Pay and the new product development process from conception to launch in-store. This process is monitored by a rigid critical path index. 18 products launched to date.
- Present to customers, sign off of all new artwork, and manage new raw materials and packaging for new products, present samples, conduct travel tests, factory trials, and present feasibility studies and costing to customers and senior management.
- Managed the building and furnishing of the company's new innovation centre which officially opened October 2013.

Adventure Traveller
- Set out on a seven month bicycle journey from Singapore to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, joined my family for a month long hike through the Solu and Khumbu valleys of the Everest Region in the Himalaya. See: www.globaltransitioning.wordpress.com.

Foreign Language Teacher
- Taught English as a foreign language for Grades 3-6 at Seoboo Elementary school in South Korea. Role involved conducting lessons, lesson planning and the sourcing of new and innovating material that would encourage more expedient English acquisition.

Live briefs and brand projects
- Live briefs: Projects were managed by the marketing heads of FNB, UniWines and Wesbank. In-depth strategies were compiled for each project, by my team, using insights deducted from market research. Once strategy had been clarified and confirmed; a media plan for the campaign was drawn up for the project and presented to clients.
- Brand Projects: Completed in-depth market research and strategy projects for Ray Ban and Vespa. Made projections on where best to position the brand in the future amongst its competitors, as well as rationally deduced assumptions on the best approach to attaining this position of strength.
- Skills developed during this period: account management, strategic planning, media planning, research, drawing up briefs, presentation skills, idea generation, and functioning effectively as part of a team.
