Doreen Fonju is a Director of Photography/ Filmmaker based in London with credits in films, documentaries, music videos.

She has experience in television production and her credits include work on different programme formats, production management on international productions and commercials, having worked for a short while as a Production Intern at Saatchi and Saatchi Advertising in South Africa.

Doreen is a graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London with an MA in Filmmaking and won Best Cinematography award at NAHEMI Brief Encounters Film Festival 2011 for graduation short - "Mrs Bates".

Doreen enjoys the creative aspect of cinematography but also endeavours to keep up to speed with ever changing technology, constantly seeks new ways to work in cost effective manner with better output. Her greatest thrill is being able to tackle the different challenges that come with every job to produce the best results.

With her background in television, she is used to high-pressured environment and working to tight deadlines and is therefore calm under stressful situations. She is friendly and easy to get along with, professional, flexible and a good team player.

Currently developing personal documentary projects, Doreen is open to opportunities to collaborate and learn from other industry professionals.
