I have worked in the engineering and manufacturing sector (steel industry), where I started out as an apprentice and after gaining 10 years experience as a machinist, I purchased and ran my own engineering company for 10 years. Following that I took my current position as a Project Manager in the steel industry, where I am now a Zambian Operations Manager for the company I am employed by. My job description involves managing the erection of steel structures in Zambia, and my experience and knowledge includes preparing of quotations for clients, reading and understanding the relevant drawings, ordering of the correct materials, the logistics of sending the material to site from South Africa to Zambia, as well as managing the erection of the structures on site. I am also required to handle the financial aspects of the project, and maintain excellent client relations.

My career objective is to manage a large department or operation in a company. I am a very ambitious, driven and self motivated individual. I aim to achieve work of an exceptionally high standard at all times, and am a perfectionist who pays close attention to detail. I believe my strengths lie in my leadership skills, and I work well in a team environment, with the ability to motivate those around me. I am an ideal candidate for senior or top level management positions.
