Pierre Heistein is the Course Convener for the online University of Cape Town Applied Economics for Smart Decision Making course at GetSmarter (www.GetSmarter.co.za), an online education company. He also writes a regular column for the Business Report. Pierre has always been an enthusiastic entrepreneur and has been involved in many businesses and start-up projects, both profit driven and NGO.
