It is important to know how to use mobile technology to communicate with consumers, and incorporate this into your overall digital strategy. This course runs for six weeks and will teach students the basics of Mobile Marketing and how it can be integrated into an overall digital strategy.

Mobile connectivity is something for us as marketers to consider when aligning marketing strategies to work out the best way in which to connect with consumers. With over 5 billion mobile subscribers worldwide (International Telecommunications Union, 2010), knowing how to use mobile technology to communicate with consumers is an essential part to any digital market¬ing strategy.
The Mobile Marketing course is a six-week course and will teach students to understand mobile market¬ing and how to integrate this into their digital marketing strategy. The course starts on the 8 June 2012 and the full cost of the course is R6200 including Value Added Tax.
Interaction will take place via the Quirk Education learning centre - an online platform designed to facilitate easy interaction between the students themselves, as well as the students and course convenors. The course material will also be presented online in various formats: course notes, video lectures, discussion forum, weekly assignments and recommended reading. Academic support will be provided to the students via the discussion forum, and the course convenors can be contacted via email or telephone.
Students' knowledge will be tested each week with an assignment which will focus on the topic for that week. Successful completion of the course will be awarded with a certificate from Quirk Education. Students will also complete an online exam at the end of the course. This course is also endorsed by the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA).
