The impact of client relationships on innovation

Workshop to explore impact of client relationships on companies' ability to innovate

Companies must innovate in order to remain globally competitive, especially in tough economic times. Although companies' ability to innovate relies on technology and resources such as the creative potential of employees at all levels, companies should not underestimate the impact of client relationships on the business's innovation strategies - Professor Juani Swart, Professor Extraordinaire at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) and Professor in Human Capital Management at the School of Management, University of Bath, United Kingdom.

Swart will be conducting an interactive workshop on the topic, "Magic and logic: The impact of client relationships on innovation," at the University of Stellenbosch Business School on Tuesday evening, 13 November, at 6pm. Some of the issues that Swart will unpack include:

? How to use human and social capital to generate innovative outcomes
? The role of networked situations to produce innovative outcomes
? Interactive strategies you need to become innovative
? The risks and benefits associated with innovation
