Getaway Organisors said that the stand was innovative and forward-thinking. They felt that the campaign, including the stand concept, activation and promotion, truly captured the spirit of travel and fully embraced the essence of the show. Travel insurance products were marketed with the key message: Life is an adventure... for which Sanlam has you covered.

XZIBIT expanded on the campaign by designing and producing a travel lounge concept for the exhibit including a guest appearance by Riaan Manser, celebrity adventurer. Riaan Manser entertained and inspired visitors to the stand with extraordinary stories of his travels. He was the first person to kayak 5000km around Madagascar and cycle 37 000km through 34 countries alone and unaided over a period of two years. No wonder he achieved the title 'OutThere Adventurer of the Year 2006' and also received a personal meeting request from Nelson Mandela.

What a hot weekend and 10 000 units of sun block were handed out to visitors on entrance to the Getaway Show by our friendly promoters.
